A phenomenal start to the new year! Cassian’s fi

A phenomenal start to the new year! Cassian’s first #PNW hike, made tons friends, got absolutely covered in mud, first bath, and took himself to sleep in his crate all by himself 😍 He actually went a little over a mile, which is the farthest he’s ever walked so… 😂 I’ve got green chile pork carnitas & beans in the slow cooker, Mexican rice & cookie brownies for dessert 🥰 I also destroyed a crockpot by melting it 🙃😂(accidentally on the stove). Regardless, been a lovely day 😍🥰 So excited for all the adventures to come!

As this year comes to a close, I find myself refle

As this year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on just how much change has happened—unexpected, sudden, and transformative change. It hasn’t always been easy, but each twist and turn has brought lessons that I’m deeply grateful for. In the process, I’ve discovered something incredibly precious: a growing sense of peace within myself and a deeper appreciation for the beauty in life’s smallest moments.

This time of year always carries a kind of magic, doesn’t it? But I’ve realized that it’s not in grand gestures or picture-perfect traditions—it’s in the little things. The smell of something baking in the oven, a shared laugh that lingers, a kind word when it’s needed most. These small, fleeting moments are where the true spirit of the season lives.

For some of us, that holiday magic comes from the people we choose to surround ourselves with—our chosen family—who often bring the greatest joy. They are the ones who show up, who light up our days, who remind us of love and connection in their own special ways. I couldn’t have made it through the last few years without many of you!! For that, I am endlessly grateful. 🙏

So, as the holidays settle in, I’m embracing this season as a time to celebrate the journey, the changes, and the people—both near and far—who make life rich and meaningful. Here’s to the traditions we carry, the new ones we create, and the love we find in unexpected places.
