This Privacy Policy explains what personal information leeahmurray.com collects, how it’s used and the choices you have. The site is run by Leeah Murray (“I,” “me,” “we” or “us”), based in Seattle, Washington, USA. If you have any questions, email hello@merakiand.co.
The short version
- I collect what you give me, like your name, email, purchases and the numbers you save in my tools, plus basic information about how the site is used.
- I use it to deliver what you asked for, run the site and send emails you signed up for.
- I never sell your personal information.
- Trusted service providers help me run the site, like payments, email and hosting, and they only use your information to provide their service.
- You can ask me to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
What I collect
Information you give me
- Contact and inquiry forms. Your name, email address and anything you write. For example, when you tell me about a project, request a call or ask a question.
- Free tools and email sign-ups. Your name and email address when you request your results from a free tool (like Business Pulse, Runway to Leap or Brand Alchemy) or join my email list.
- Your account. If you create an account to use the Purposepreneur Toolkit or make a purchase, I keep your name, email address and login details. Your password is stored securely and I can’t see it.
- Purchases. What you bought, when, the amount and the billing details needed to process the payment. Card details are entered directly with the payment processor. I never see or store your full card number.
- What you save in my tools. The numbers, answers and plans you enter into the Toolkit tools are saved to your account so you can come back to them.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device information. Pages visited, how you arrived, approximate location (city or region level), browser and device type. This comes from analytics tools and cookies.
- Technical logs. Like most websites, the site’s host and security tools record IP addresses and request details to keep the site running and protected.
How I use your information
- To deliver what you asked for: your tool results, your purchases, your account and replies to your messages.
- To process payments and send receipts and account emails.
- To send newsletters or tool follow-ups you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how the site is used, so I can improve it.
- To keep the site, your account and your payments secure, and to prevent fraud.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
AI-assisted features
Some Toolkit tools, like the Revenue Roadmap and Brand North Star, offer AI-assisted drafts. When you ask for a draft, the answers you’ve entered for that request are sent to my AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the text. They’re processed under Anthropic’s commercial terms. Please don’t enter information you wouldn’t want processed this way, like other people’s private details. AI drafts are suggestions, so review them before you use them.
Who helps me run the site
I share personal information only with service providers who help run the site, and only as needed for their service. These include:
- Hostinger: web hosting, and its caching and security tools.
- WooCommerce, Stripe and Amazon Pay: the shop, checkout and payment processing.
- Mailchimp: email lists and newsletters.
- Anthropic: AI-assisted drafts in some Toolkit tools.
- Google (Analytics and Site Kit): understanding how the site is used.
- Jetpack and Akismet (Automattic): sharing new blog posts to social media and filtering spam comments.
- Instagram (Meta): the Instagram feed shown on the site. Viewing it may let Instagram set its own cookies.
- Email delivery services: sending site and account emails reliably.
When you click a link to another service, like Calendly to book a call, Discord for the community, LuxeLaunch or Meraki & Co., that service’s own privacy policy applies.
I may also share information if the law requires it, to protect my rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transfer, such as selling the business. I do not sell your personal information, and I don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. This site uses:
- Essential cookies to keep you logged in, remember your cart and keep checkout secure.
- Analytics cookies to see which pages are useful.
- Third-party cookies from embedded content, like the Instagram feed.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential features, like logging in and checkout, need their cookies to work.
How long I keep information
- Account and tool data: for as long as your account is active, or until you ask me to delete it.
- Order records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Email list information: until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove it.
- Inquiries: as long as needed to respond and follow up.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Ask what I hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct anything that’s wrong.
- Ask me to delete your information or your account. Some order records may have to be kept for legal reasons.
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time, using the link in any email.
- Object to or limit certain uses of your information.
Depending on where you live, such as California, other US states, the UK or the EU, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email hello@merakiand.co. I’ll respond within the time the law requires and won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights. I may need to confirm your identity first.
Security
I use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password storage and trusted payment processors. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password for your account.
Children
This site and its tools are for adults running or starting businesses. They aren’t intended for children under 16, and I don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has given me information, email me and I’ll delete it.
International visitors
The site is run from the United States, and information is stored and processed in the US and other countries where my service providers operate. By using the site, you understand your information may be processed outside your country.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The current version always lives on this page, with its “Last updated” date. If I make a significant change, I’ll make it clear on the site or by email.
